On a weekend trip to Jaipur with a friend, I had this delicious delicacy called “Dal, Baati, Churma”. Its supposed to be a Rajasthani dish with a lot of ghee. Its a must have, if you happen to travel to Rajasthan.

Email, ease and more – Postbox Email application

I recently started using POSTBOX Email client as an alternative to Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. The first impressions were that POSTBOX happens to be a lighter application and unlike MS Office Outlook, doesn’t crash or hang.

It has a nice RSS reader integrated into it. The overall user interface is nice and clean, except for the fact that creating a new email message is easier in the MS Office Outlook.

There were a few bugs that I noticed while managing my RSS feeds within the application’s RSS reader and have already reported it to the developers. All in all a nice solution, if you prefer lighter email applications and subscribe to a lot of RSS. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

CushyCMS – Great Idea for CMS powered sites

I was looking for some CMS solutions that are cost effective. I came across this nice and easy to use CMS with the name CushyCMS.

This particular solution does not require you to install any package on your server; in fact you don’t even need any software support (PHP, MySQL, Dot Net, ColdFusion etc.).

All you need is a little bit of knowhow on HTML, ftp access on your web server, and voila you could create a CMS solution for your site without any programming. I would be checking this service out and come up with more thereafter.
