    Project Management, as I understand, is balancing the various constraints of a project to reach a desirable outcome. Although, there are several factors that can influence the project during various stages but the critical one’s could be listed as (not necessarily in the order of impact):

    • Scope
    • Quality
    • Schedule
    • Resources
    • Budget
    • Risk

    My adventures with project management have taught me a lot of lessons, sometimes even the hard way.Having learnt from those lessons, I believe the most important aspect of Project Management is -“COMMUNICATION”. Now, communication skills are not the same as language skills as often confused. However, a good command over the language does help communicate better.

    What is important in good communication, is to communicate accurate information to the right person(s), clearly and timely. Your communication products could be an email, a project specification, words spoken in a meeting, a teleconference etc.
